"My Favorite Ionizer I had 3 of the Ionic Pro Compacts in my life. I found my first 3 used at Restore and bought them for 20 dollars each. I liked very much that they were fanless and super quiet. They helped my brother with allergies and even mold. I liked the cleanable and reusable filters. When we moved to another location, we found from our landlord that the apartment had a severe mold problem. We were actually amazed at how well the ionizer kept the mold from hurting us (though we were also glad to get out of the older place when we found out what we were dealing with, the landlord then remediated the place when she was getting it ready for renting to another person). We lost all the ionizers in a wildfire that had burned down our house. They were faithful and reliable. We decided to get another one from Amazon to help with the smoke from nearby wildfires and it has already served us as well as the older ones. The only thing I had to get used to is that the price has gone up, but it seems that this is a bigger issue than the product itself. It seems everything is more expensive. We still like it and were happy to supplement the HEPA filters that we already have."
